ASEC SOLUTIONS manufactures Electronic Leak Testers which are used in checking the Leakage in automobile components. Electronic Leak Tester works both in pressure and vacuum decay principle. These are rugged and simple, designed for Industrial atmosphere to work on assembly lines.

Process :
The system has provision for programmable Fill, Stabilization & Test timers and programmable limits for low, High and drop settings. The component under test is filled with regulated air pressure using the in built pneumatics for the set fill time. Once the component is filled the air supply is cut off and pressure inside the component is allowed to stabilize for the set time. Once the stabilization is over testing of the component is started. During the test time pressure value is recorded at the beginning and end of test time. Difference in pressure values is the drop of pressure in the component during test time. This is compared with allowable Leakage limit. If the drop is less than the drop limit then test is passed. Otherwise the test is failed.
